Big boy bike... with a bell on it
We visited with 4 different santas over the course of the month and all H asked for was a big boy bike with a bell on it. He got one and all he wants to do is ride it. The day after Christmas we bundled up, as it was 30 degrees, and headed out to the track for some bike riding.

Christmas Day
We woke up at our house to presents from santa and then got going quickly to celebrate in Hood River. H's favorite present was his big boy bike (not pictured), but close second was his new running shoes. They are too big, but he won't stop wearing them.
It was a really fun Christmas with Mr. H. He finally gets it this year. We had a month full of Christmas cheer. Sad to see it go, but ready for some downtime too.

Thayer is 3 months!
Little man is 3 months old. He is the sweetest babe. I of course couldn't capture his million watt smile in this photo shoot, but he has one. When awake he is a super happy boy. He is constantly smiling and chatting. He is starting to lose a little hair, but still has a decent amount of wispies. His eyes are still blue, but this was the age that Henry's started to change, so we will see how they end up. He started rolling over a few days ago. He doesn't do it every time, but he now rolls from tummy to back both ways. Big brother loves him to pieces. Sometimes a little too much, but always out of love. He is the perfect addition to our little family. We couldn't be happier.

O' Christmas Tree, O' Christmas Tree
Love his "silly face" |
The Christmas tree experience was not quite how momma planned it. All H wanted was another candy cane (too many candy canes the previous 2 days) and my baby, T, who is never cranky... was super cranky. He just wanted to eat and get his diaper changed, not search for a Christmas tree. We tried for a few minutes and then T and I retreated to the car to eat, while H and Daddy picked a tree without us. T proceeded to smile at me the whole ride home... stinker ;).
The decorating was fun though. We put the tree up and placed lights during H's nap. He was SO excited when he woke up. As far as decorating goes, he only wanted to put ornaments on if it meant climbing the ladder and putting them up high. I can't blame him. Ladders are pretty fun.

H & T
My Boys! Need I say more. Henry is just about the funniest little boy I know. Thayer is so happy all the time. These boys are such a joy. Now that we are out of the first 2 months with our newest family member, everyone is settling in nicely. What a great family!

Another Giant...
Our newest little man could slow down at any moment, but as of right now he's trying to keep up with big brother. We had his 2 mo appt. today.
Stats:13lbs 11oz, 24.5in
Both at the top of the charts and almost exactly what brother was at the same age (14lbs, 25in).
Still quite baffled as to where these large boys came from. I want them to stay my little men forever.

Thayer is 2 months
My littlest man is 2 months old today. It's going by so fast, but at the same time, it feels like he has always been a part of our family. He is the sweetest baby around. Very calm, quiet, and most recently happy. His personality is realy starting to shine. I have been enjoying long smile/coo sessions every morning. I can't get enough of those smiles. As cheesy as it sounds, they warm my heart. He still sleeps a lot, but when he is awake he is a happy boy.
He is so handsome and has the fluffiest patch of hair on his head. He is proving to be quite the big boy like brother. I'm interested to see just how big at his appt. this week.
Love you, Thayer

Halloween
First school halloween part. The pirate fireman. |
My fireman (because he asked for it) and my football (because I found the onesie in hand-me-downs). Halloween was so much fun this year. Henry is old enough to quasi understand and was so excited about it. He loved saying trick or treat... thank you... happy halloween. By the end all he could muster was happy halloween, but it was adorable. Thayer of course slept through it all. Next year he can join the fun.
