Every month I'm more amazed. This month was a particularly fun one. Henry has really started to communicate. He's up to about 75 words that he uses appropriately (most of the time). He's starting to run (walk really fast). We got him his own real putter, so he's starting to prefect his golf swing. He gives the best hugs, kisses, and snuggles (when he wants to). He brings sunshine and joy to my life everyday, regardless of my mood. This is one special guy!

Ellie came to stay the night at our house, so mommy and daddy could go on a date. It's so fun watching these two grow up together. They don't quite understand how to play "together" at this point, but they seem to enjoy playing side by side.

We are so lucky that we have a beach house in the family. We were able to go to the beach for a whole week. It was such a perfect time as a family. Our friends came down for a night, but for the most part it was just our little fam. We played on the beach, went in the ocean, drove to Depoe Bay, and Newport, ate at Mo's, etc. It was just like when I was a kid. It was so exciting to see that Henry enjoyed it as much as I did.  I'm looking forward to many more family trips as we grow.

17 months

Our little man is almost 1.5 years old. Time certainly has flown. He has such a fun, excitable spirit. I love spend time with my bug and can't imagine life without him. He amazes me more and more each day. For the last 2 weeks he has gained at least 1 new word each day. We counted, and he is up to about 40 words he uses on a daily bases. His level of comprehension is mind boggling. He's definitely growing up.

We spent memorial day weekend in Hood River. We visited the fam and celebrated Daddy's 31st birthday. It was a great weekend. Lots of water time, play time, and relaxation time. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa. It was fun.
