Daddys bike

Going for a ride... I can't wait until he's big/old enough for his own bike. He looks great in a helmet :).

First Haircut =(

Henry got his first haircut on Thanksgiving. Aunt Christie did a fabulous job and he looks so handsome, but... it made me so sad. He looks so much more grown up with his professionally coiffed hair. I realized a little too late that I wasn't quite ready for such a big man haircut. We probably won't be cutting it again for a little while.

Thanksgiving!

Cimbing the stairs with Poppy

Giggling with my buddy Nana

Playtime with daddy

Loved that dinner so much I want to eat everything... including the camera
We have so much to be thankful for this year... and every year. We have amazing, supportive families, a small family of our own, our health, etc. We count our blessings everyday and Henry is always at the top of the list.

New Chair

I found this cute chair on craigslist the other day and Henry LOVES it. He will sit in it for quite a while looking at his books. He also uses it as a walker to push around the room. It's pretty darn cute.

10 Months

Wouldn't even sit long enough for a picture

Always eating... hence the growth

Henry's playroom (a.k.a our living room)
I love how when we go to take "monthly" photos they are such a sign of the times. They end up showcasing his personality. As you can see from this months pics they are few and far between. He won't sit still. He is on the go, go go. We love watching him move, and play, and learn new things. He has started to babble a lot more, and loves to point out things to tell you about. He's walking a lot faster with his walker and along furniture, but has still only taken a few steps on his own. He is by far the fastest crawler I've ever seen, he doesn't need to walk because he gets where he needs to go fast enough. He LOVES to play hide-and-seek/peek-a-boo. He'll pull a blanket over his head or crawl behind the curtain, wait for you to call for him and then reveal himself with a sly smile. He gets more and more fun ever day. Can't wait to see what the future holds for our little man.

First Step

We don't have a walker quite yet, but... Henry took his first solo step today. He let go of the couch stood on his own for a few seconds and then took a step without holding on. It only took one step to get to the coffee table, so he didn't go any further, but it was exciting for him and us. He realized what he had done and looked pretty proud of himself. I think we still have a few weeks before he really gets going on his own, but we're on our way.
