Halloween

First school halloween part. The pirate fireman.

My fireman (because he asked for it) and my football (because I found the onesie in hand-me-downs). Halloween was so much fun this year. Henry is old enough to quasi understand and was so excited about it. He loved saying trick or treat... thank you... happy halloween. By the end all he could muster was happy halloween, but it was adorable. Thayer of course slept through it all. Next year he can join the fun.

Pumpkin Patch

So Big

Token tractor pic
We made a trip to the pumpkin patch 3 times this year, but our favorite is still Lee farms. This is our 3rd year in a row. It's so fun to start traditions and make more memories. This was Thayers first trip, but I don't think he opened his eyes the entire time. Next year he can join the fun. As Henry grows everything gets a little more exciting and fun. I still love ALL holidays and its fun to have someone to get excited with.

Preschool

He wasn't excited about posing for the camera

Henry started school! Our smart, energetic little man needed something of his own. We found a 2's class for him at a school down the street and he is loving it. He's very excited that he is "big" enough to go to school. He says he already knows his letters, but he's excited to learn his numbers. We're excited for that too. Can't believe how quickly he's grown up. It's even more magnified now that Thayer is here. Where does the time go?

Thayer is 1 month old...

All snuggled up, ready for a walk.

First and only time on the playmat thus far.
He likes it, but doesn't stay awake for long.

Henry wore this same outfit for his 1 month photos.
Gave me a little sense of deja vu.

Just really shows you how large Henry is...

He slept through most of his (attempted) 1 month photos

The token "alert" shot

Sleepyhead

Can't believe how quickly the time passes. That's especially true with the second child.Thayer is a lot sleepier than Henry was and pretty easy as far as babies go. This makes him kinda hard to notice when you have a loud, energetic, exhuberant 2 year old to contend with.
At this point he sleeps most of the time waking for feedings, diaper changes, and short 15 min stints of quiet/alert time. He has a very calm nature, but can go from 0-60 in a second if he wakes up hungry or with a dirty diaper. I am SO in love yet again. I didn't know how it would be possible for me to feel this much for another child, but it is!
We are loving being a family of 4. This child is actually giving me baby fever. Can't stop thinking about a third. Bill doesn't think we should push our luck ;). After a month I can finally say that we are settling into a routine.  Henry is geting used to his little brother and gives him lots of love. He has his moments of 2 year old angst, but generally has an unwavering love for our newest family member. He is so proud that he is a big brother. Today I caught him telling Thayer all the things they could do, because mom wasn't in the room. These boys are going to be trouble ;).
