Another fun trip to the pumpkin patch, with much of the time spent on one of the 3 tractors. Henry was in heaven.

Our big man is 1 3/4 years old this month. It feels like yesterday he was just a little bundle and now hes practically grown up. He is starting to speak in full sentences, but his favorite words are commands... Do it, get it, eat it, read it, have it, etc. He is also gaining a lot of independence. He likes to help get dressed and will find us all the parts. His new favorite statement is "Henry do it!". He is so much fun to be around. With him I have at least one belly laugh a day. He is our joy in life.

I LOVE this little man. He makes me smile, he makes me laugh, he makes me feel warm and cozy. He is a total boys BOY, but has a sweet spirit. He has started to learn his colors and numbers (he has counted to 5 once). He has started to sing along to songs on the radio (we have to really pay attention to what we are listening to). He can communicate all of his basic needs and much much more. SO much fun to watch him grow up. I feel so lucky that he's my boy.

Henry and Ellie have become such good friends. If you tell them they are going to see each other, you better make it happen, because they won't stop talking about it. It's so fun having a playamte in the family.

Biopsy :(

 

Henry had to have a simple scalp biopsy recently. It was really scary for us (he had to be put under), but he didn't seem to mind. He had toys to play with, he got to watch TV, and he had his "mi-mi" out of bed. He woke up a little surly, but all in all, everything went great.

We had a nice BBQ with the Hayes clan. Henry got to see his cousins and I got to snuggle Theo and Grayson. Love the babes!

This month Henry has continued to expand his vocabulary and has started to use a few small 2-3 word sentences. It is so fun to watch him learn and grow. He says or understands something new in an instant. He is loud, strong, caring, funny, and independent. He is becoming much more insistant that he have choices. He likes to wear rain boots in the sunshine, and his helmet in the house... and  the grocery store... and the front yard. He loves to help mom sweep, or vaccum, or help daddy mow the lawn. He already looks like a big boy, so now he wants to be one. We cherish all the moments we have with our special bug. He continues to amaze us everyday.
