Cloud Cap

After a few years off, Grampy decided it was time to get back up to cloud cap. The Arizona Woodruff's came in for the occasion. It was perfect. I can't get enough of this place. The "big kids" made it pretty far up. Can't wait for next year. I think we might make it up to the hut.

July 4th

By far one of my favorite 4th's. We hit up the parade and then spent the day with the whole fam over at Auntie Shell's. Such a great day!

All 8 grand kids together at once. Plenty (or so we thought) of able bodied adults. A nice camera. What could go wrong? EVERYTHING! These may look like outtakes, but they are in fact the best shots we got. Too many little to keep track of and a camera that went on the fritz minutes before the start of the shoot. We figured out the problem just as they all started to melt down. Oh well, better luck next year ;).

Morning park time in our PJ's

My sweet boy has grown up so fast. I really don't know how where my baby went. He started crawling like a pro right after he turned 8 mo. He's now pulling himself up on everything and trying to get into everything. Of course his favorite things are electrical cords and outlets, sharp objects, and hard surfaces. We have a doozy couple of months ahead of us as his crawling goes to walking and so on. He is such a happy boy and I feel so lucky to be his momma. That wide smile and those blue eyes make me melt.
